Abstract

U ovome radu radi se o korporativnom upravljanju informatikom u prehrambenoj industriji. Korporativno upravljanje (engl.Corporate Governance) predstavlja institucionalni okvir kojim se određuju ciljevi poslovanja, način njihova ostvarivanja, ali i metrike kojima se prate performanse i mjeri uspješnosti.
U prvom poglavlju radi se o pojmu korporativno upravljanje informatikom te se detaljno objašnjavaju metode, ciljevi i načela primjene korporativnog upravljanja informatikom. Također prvo poglavlje sadrži čimbenike i komponente korporativnog upravljanja informatikom.
Drugo poglavlje opisuje ulogu informatike u poslovanju, te primjenu informacijske tehnologije u poslovanju i koje se strategije informatike upotrebljavaju. Također, na kraju rada, se govori o primjeni korporativnog upravljanja informatikom u prehrambenoj industriji.

Abstract (english)

This graduate thesis is about IT governance in food industry. Corporate governance is the institutional framework which determines the aims of business, the way of their realization, as well as metrics that monitor performance and measure success.
The first chapter is about corporate management and there is a detailed explanation of methods, goals and principles of implementation of corporate management. The first chapter also contains factors and components of corporate management in informatics.
The second chapter describes the role of information technology in business, and the application of informatics technology in business. There is, also, explained which IT strategies are being used. In the end of this thesis, it is described how corporate management can be implemented in food industry.
