Abstract

Banke, kao i sva ostala poduzeća, moraju pratiti trendove na tržištu kako bi ostali konkurentni, istovremeno poštivajući regulative koje im je propisala središnja banka. Kontroling predstavlja jednu od najvažnijih funkcija poslovanja te osigurava da se poslovanje odvija efikasno i efektivno te da se ostvare planirani ciljevi. Ključne funkcije kontroliga u bankama su izvještavanje i planiranje te analiza uspješnosti poslovanja. Isto tako, kontroling bankama omogućuje izradu procjena i planova koje služe za izvještavanje vlasnika. Cilj rada je sustavno objasniti i istražiti funkciju kontrolinga u bankama i u kojoj mjeri ta funkcija pridonosi sveukupnoj uspješnosti poslovanja banaka.

Abstract (english)

Banks, as any other company, has to follow market trends in order to remain competitive, while also respecing the regulations provided by the central bank. Controlling is one of the most important business functions and it ensures that business is conducted efficiently and effectively, but at the same time, to make sure that the planned goals are achieved. Key function of the controlling in banks is certanly reporting, planning and performance analysis. Likewise, controlling allows banks to make estimates and plans that serve to report the owners. The aim of this paper is to systematically explain and investigate the controlling function in banks and to which extent this function contributes to the overall performance of business in banks.
