Abstract
In short, sustainable business is the realization of one's interests, i.e. the best possible business results with constant care for the environment and the community. Many researches that have dealt with socially responsible business, i.e. the benefits that socially responsible business brings, have encouraged companies to incorporate these business principles into their own business processes. A socially responsible way of doing business brings benefits not only to the company but to the whole community. According to the European Commission Directive, large companies will have to report not only financial but also non-financial indicators concerning socially responsible, ethical and social norms. The directive has passed consultation with all stakeholders.
Abstract (croatian)
Ukratko, održivo poslovanje je ostvarivanje vlastitih interesa, tj. najbolji mogući poslovni rezultati uz stalnu brigu o okolišu i zajednici. Mnoga istraživanja koja su se bavila društveno odgovornim poslovanjem, odnosno koristima koje društveno odgovorno poslovanje donosi, potaknula su tvrtke da ova načela poslovanja ugrade u vlastite poslovne procese. Društveno odgovoran način poslovanja donosi dobrobiti ne samo tvrtki nego i cijeloj zajednici. Prema Direktivi Europske komisije, velike tvrtke morat će izvještavati ne samo o financijskim nego i o nefinancijskim pokazateljima koji se tiču ​​društveno odgovornih, etičkih i društvenih normi. Direktiva je prošla konzultacije sa svim dionicima.
