Abstract

Jedan od najvažnijih sektora hrvatskog gospodarstva je hotelijerstvo. Republika Hrvatska oduvijek je bila atrakcijska turistička destinacija za turiste iz cijeloga svijeta, a pogotovo za turiste iz obližnjih zemalja. Privlačenjem izravnih investicija turizam već godinama doprinosi gospodarskom razvitku, a uloga koju turizam preuzima u sustavu gospodarstva protječe iz ekonomskih funkcija te je cilj ovog rada prikazati na temelju promatranih poduzeća pokazatelje poslovanja te ih međusobno usporediti. Analiziraju se financijski pokazatelji likvidnosti, zaduženosti, aktivnosti, ekonomičnosti, profitabilnosti te pokazatelji investiranja pomoću kojih će se dobiti trenutni položaj promatranih poslovnih subjekata korištenjem metode analize, deskripcije, sinteze, komparacije te matematičke metode. Dobivenim rezultatima nastoji se prikazati perspektiva navedenih hotelskih lanaca.

Abstract (english)

Today, the hotel industry is one of the most important sectors in the Croatian economy. The Republic of Croatia has always been an attractive tourist destination for tourists from all over the world, and especially for tourists from nearby countries. By attracting direct investment, tourism has been contributing to economic development for years, and the role that tourism takes in the economic system stems from economic functions, and the aim of this paper is to present business indicators based on observed companies and compare them. Financial indicators of liquidity, indebtedness, activity, economy, profitability and investment indicators are analyzed, which is used to obtain the current position of the observed business entities using the method of analysis, description, synthesis, comparison, and mathematical methods. The obtained results try to show the perspective of mentioned hotel chains.
