Abstract

Zagrebačka banka d.d. vodeća je banka na tržištu u Republici Hrvatskoj te je članica UniCredit grupe. Zagrebačka banka d.d. je univerzalna banka koja u svom poslovanju nudi širok spektar usluga kao što su plaćanja, financiranje, štednja i ulaganja te osiguranje. U ovom radu provedena je statistička analiza financijske uspješnosti Zagrebačke banke d.d. u razdoblju od 2017. do 2021. godine. Temeljni financijski izvještaji, bilanca te račun dobiti i gubitka analizirani su ključnim financijskim pokazateljima, a koji su zatim uspoređeni s odabranim konkurentima u Republici Hrvatskoj temeljem veličine aktive. Temeljem ispitanih hipoteza u radu, napravljena je usporedba i te se donio zaključak da Zagrebačka banka d.d. nema najveću profitabilnost kapitala i imovine te da ne ostvaruje najveću neto kamatnu maržu, ali ima najveći pokazatelj marža naknada u odnosu na odabrane konkurente u Republici Hrvatskoj.

Abstract (english)

Zagrebačka banka d.d. is the leading bank on the market in the Republic of Croatia and is a member of the UniCredit Group. Zagrebačka banka d.d. is a universal bank that offers a wide range of services in its operations, such as payments, financing, savings and investments, and insurance. In this paper is conducted a statistical analysis of the financial performance of Zagrebačka banka d.d. in the period from 2017 to 2021. The basic financial statements, balance sheet and income statement were analyzed by key financial indicators, which were then compared with selected competitors in the Republic of Croatia based on the size of assets. Based on the hypotheses tested in the paper, a comparison was made and it was concluded that Zagrebačka banka d.d. does not have the highest profitability of capital and assets and does not achieve the highest net interest margin, but has the highest indicator of fee margins in relation to selected competitors in the Republic of Croatia.
