Abstract

Posljednjih desetljeća novi sustavi proizvodnje i potrošnje postali su tema mnogih političkih rasprava u Europskoj uniji i ostatku svijeta. Održiva potrošnja je politički koncept koji se pokušava prevesti u praksu raznim regulatornim mjerama (poticanjem proizvodnje i konzumacijom organskih proizvoda, energetskim naljepnicama, recikliranjem). Cilj rada je istražiti (europski) politički koncept održive potrošnje te na koji način se preko potrošačke politike uvodi u život i praksu potrošača. U radu je obrađena provedba održivih načina potrošnje u Europskoj uniji. Provest će se analiza sekundarnih podataka prikupljenih Eurobarometrom 501. Rezultati će iz praktičnog primjera će služiti kao primjer i temelj za buduće generacije koje će na korisniji i mnogo savjesniji način upotrebljavati resurse koje imamo na raspolaganju. Stručni doprinos rada se odnosi na razvoj domaće potrošačke politike jer će se otkriti predodžbe hrvatskih potrošača i identificirati gdje postoji prostor za poboljšanje regulacije koja pokriva obveze i stimulacije potrošača oko potrošnje proizvoda i korištenja usluga.

Abstract (english)

In recent decades, new production and consumption systems have become the subject of much political debate in the European Union and the rest of the world. Sustainable consumption is a political concept that is trying to be put into practice by various regulatory measures (encouraging the production and consumption of organic products, energy labels, recycling). The aim of this paper is to investigate the (European) political concept of sustainable consumption and how consumer policy is introduced into the life and practice of consumers. The paper deals with the implementation of sustainable consumption in the European Union. An analysis of the secondary data collected by Eurobarometer 501 will be carried out. The professional contribution of the paper refers to the development of domestic consumer policy because it will reveal the perceptions of Croatian consumers and identify where there is room for improvement of regulation that covers obligations and incentives for consumers to consume products and use services.
