Abstract

U današnje vrijeme globalizacije, nužnosti zadovoljavanja sve kompleksnijih zahtjeva i sve većim investicijama, ne iznenađuje iskorištavanje spajanja i preuzimanja kako bi se poduzeća bolje pozicionirala i imala veću konkurentsku moć. Također, integracijski procesi sa sobom nose odgovarajući rizik, no stvaranjem sinergije i s održavanjem komunikacije između postojećih i novih poduzeća omogućava se željeni rast i razvoj. Poslovni svijet, kao i nogometni podložan je brojnim promjenama, zbog konstantne potražnje za boljim i korisnijim. Manchester United predstavlja vrh svjetskog nogometa i prepoznatljiv je po svojim uspjesima diljem svijeta. Zbog navedenog, prikazana je u radu analiza uspješnosti preuzimanja jednog od najvećih svjetskih nogometnih klubova unatoč nezadovoljstvu oko istog.

Abstract (english)

In the current era of globalization, the need to meet increasingly complex requirements and everincreasing investments, it is not surprising that mergers and acquisitions are used in companies to get better position and have greater competitive power. Also, integration processes carry with them appropriate risk, but by creating synergy and maintaining communication between existing and new companies, the desired growth and development is possible. The business world, as well as the football world, is subject to numerous changes, due to the constant demand for better and more useful things. Manchester United represents the top of world football and is recognized for its successes around the world. Due to the above, this master's thesis presents an analysis of the success of the takeover of one of the world's largest football clubs, despite dissatisfaction with it.
