Abstract

The advent of the Internet, that is, with the development of the digital environment, the whole life has changed greatly. In many ways, the digital environment has had a positive impact on people, their way of life and their actions. In addition to the positive impact on people by the digital environment, it has also led to the possibility of abuse of human rights in different ways. The Internet is recognized as a place where in many ways human rights can be compromised and, especially those related to man’s privacy. In addition, violence is often carried out on the Internet, racism is encouraged, personal data is stolen and various types of fraud are carried out. It is the digital environment that has enabled substantially faster and simpler human rights violations in relation to human rights violations in a physical environment. A particularly vulnerable group is children and young people. Those on the Internet can be exposed to various forms of bullying. Also, children can be victims of pedophiles, fraud, theft, etc. Since this is a particularly vulnerable group in society, it is essential to introduce children to the negative sides of the internet as well as the fact that they have to behave online and that negative online behavior should be acted upon in a timely manner.

Abstract (croatian)

Pojavom interneta, odnosno razvojem digitalnog okruženja cijeli se život uvelike promijenio. Digitalno okruženje na mnoge je načine imalo pozitivan utjecaj na ljude, njihov način života i djelovanje. Osim pozitivnog utjecaja digitalnog okruženja na ljude, ono je dovelo i do mogućnosti zlouporabe ljudskih prava na različite načine. Internet je prepoznat kao mjesto gdje na mnogo načina mogu biti ugrožena ljudska prava, a posebno ona koja se tiču ​​čovjekove privatnosti. Osim toga, na internetu se često provodi nasilje, potiče rasizam, kradu osobni podaci i izvode razne vrste prijevara. Upravo je digitalno okruženje omogućilo bitno brže i jednostavnije kršenje ljudskih prava u odnosu na kršenja ljudskih prava u fizičkom okruženju. Posebno ranjiva skupina su djeca i mladi. Oni na internetu mogu biti izloženi raznim oblicima maltretiranja. Također, djeca mogu biti žrtve pedofila, prijevare, krađe i sl. Budući da se radi o posebno ranjivoj skupini u društvu, bitno je upoznati djecu s negativnim stranama interneta kao i činjenicom da se moraju ponašati na internetu i da na negativno ponašanje na internetu treba pravovremeno djelovati.
