Abstract

Nuklearna energija je u današnje vrijeme sve češća tema razgovora. U doba kada se svijet mijenja i društvo se okreće prema njegovom očuvanju, nuklearna energija je ključna. Obzirom na nastojanje ostvarenja ciljeva Europskog zelenog plana sve više poduzeća i država implementira društveno odgovorno poslovanje (u daljnjem tekstu DOP) u većim mjerama nego do sada te se povećava pozitivan učinak na društvo i okoliš. Društveno odgovorno poslovanje je koncept koji se odnosi na ravnotežu društvenih i ekonomskih ciljeva poduzeća. Nuklearne elektrane su specifičan oblik poduzeća na koje društvo stavlja veću odgovornost postizanja ciljeva DOP-a zbog čega potencijalno imaju veći utjecaj na okoliš oko sebe. Sa strogo određenim pravilima i normama drugačijima od ostalih poduzeća, utjecaj na okolinu nuklearne elektrane trebao bi biti isključivo pozitivan. Kroz emiprijsko istraživanje na temelju dva polustrukturirana intervjua sa stručnjacima iz područja nuklearne energije i tri studije slučaja vezane za poslovanje nuklearnih elektrana u Republici Hrvatskoj kao i u dvije države članice Europske unije, Njemačkoj i Finskoj, može se donijeti zaključak kako je društveno odgovorno poslovanje nuklearnih elektrana specifičan slučaj u svijetu i kako je upravo nuklearna energija ključna za provedbu zelene tranzicije u svijetu.

Abstract (english)

Nuclear power is an increasingly common topic of conversation these days. In an age when the world is changing and society is turning towards its conservation, nuclear energy is key. Given the efforts to achieve the goals of the European Green Deal, more companies and countries are implementing corporate social responsibility in greater measures than before and increasing the positive impact on society and the environment. Corporate social responsibility is a concept that relates to the balance of social and economic goals of a company. Nuclear power plants are a specific form of company in which society puts greater responsibility to achieve CSR goals, and as such has a potentially greater impact on the environment around it. With strictly defined rules and norms different from other companies, it is ensured that this impact on the environment of a nuclear power plant would be exclusively positive.Through empirical research based on two semi-structured interviews with experts in the field of nuclear energy, and three case studies related to the operation of nuclear power plants in the Republic of Croatia as well as in two EU Member States, Germany and Finland, it can be concluded that the corporate social responsibility of nuclear power plants is a specific case of company in the world and that nuclear energy is crucial for the implementation of the green transition in the world.
