Abstract

Digitalizacija i automatizacija su neki od najvažnijih trendova u modernom turizmu te
omogućuju prilagođavanje novim okolnostima u svijetu putem korištenja tehnologije kako bi se
poboljšala turistička ponuda i zadovoljila potražnja. Automatizacija također može imati utjecaj
na rad zaposlenika i na zaposlenost u turističkom sektoru. U radu se želio istražiti utjecaj
automatizacije na zaposlenost u turističkom sektoru u Republici Hrvatskoj. Istraživanje je
provedeno putem ankete koja je poslana zaposlenicima pet hrvatskih hotela koji su
implementirali automatizaciju i digitalne tehnologije u svoj radni proces. U istraživanju je
sudjelovalo 25 ispitanika. Putem istraživanja je zaključeno kako neki zaposlenici u turističkom
sektoru u Hrvatskoj smatraju da automatizcija ima utjecaj na zaposlenost u turizmu, a neki to ne
smatraju, te se može zaključiti kako postoji podvojeno mišljenje o tom pitanju. Automatizacija
pozitivno utječe na rad ispitanika te olakšava radni proces.

Abstract (english)

Digitization and automation are some of the most important trends in modern tourism and enable adaptation to new circumstances in the world through the use of technology in order to improved tourist offer and satisfy demand. Automation can also have an impact on the work of employees and on employment in the tourism sector. The paper wanted to investigate the impact automation on employment in the tourism sector in the Republic of Croatia. Research is carried out through a survey that was sent to employees of five Croatian hotels that implemented automation and digital technologies in their work process. It is in research 25 respondents participated. Through research, it was concluded that some employees in the tourism industry sector in Croatia believe that automation has an impact on employment in tourism, while some do not think that, and it can be concluded that there is a divided opinion on this issue. Automation positively affects the work of the examinee and facilitates the work process.
