Abstract

U ovom radu analizira se Opća uredba o zaštiti podataka, promjene u segmentu zaštite podataka koje Opća uredba donosi, temeljna načela provedbe te prava ispitanika u procesu obrade osobnih podataka. Opća uredba donijela je izuzetno velike promjene u području zaštite podataka te omogućila pojedincima kontrolu nad obradom osobnih podataka što je izuzetno važno za osiguravanje temeljnih ljudskih prava. Opća uredba definira nadzorna tijela zadužena za kontrolu i provedbu Opće uredbe i zakonodavstva vezanog uz zaštitu osobnih podataka. U radu je prikazan i razvoj zaštite podataka od samih početaka sve do uvođenja Opće uredbe te su analizirani izvori prava. Opća uredba podrazumijeva uvođenje sasvim novog načina na koji posluju poslovni subjekti te je u radu prikazan utjecaj Opće uredbe na poslovanje i njena implementacija na primjeru knjigovodstvenog servisa.

Abstract (english)

This paper analyses the General Data Protection Regulation, the changes in the data protection introduced by the General Data Protection Regulation, the fundamental implementation principles, and the rights of data subjects in the process of personal data processing. The General Data Protection Regulation introduced significant changes in the field of data protection and has enabled individuals to assume control over the processing of their personal data, which is crucial for ensuring basic human rights. The General Data Protection Regulation defines supervisory authorities responsible for monitoring and enforcing the General Data Protection Regulation and legislation related to the protection of personal data. The paper also presents the development of data protection from its inception until the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation and analyses fundamental legal documents that served as a base line for it. The General Data Protection Regulation introduces an entirely new way business entities operate, and this paper showcases the impact of the General Data Protection Regulation on business and its implementation using the example of an accounting service
