Abstract

Međunarodna trgovina je raznolika i složena i u njoj sudjeluje većina zemalja svijeta. Kako svjetska populacija raste, međunarodna trgovina prehrambenim proizvodima pomaže zadovoljiti sve veću potražnju smanjivanjem pritiska na ograničene lokalne prirodne resurse. Industrija prehrambenih proizvoda se neprestano mijenja. Novi potrošački trendovi, nove tehnologije i konkurencija znači da je ova industrija ona koja se mora nastaviti razvijati i prilagođavati. Međunarodna trgovina organskim proizvodima se uvelike razvija u današnje vrijeme jer svijest o ekološkim proizvodima postaje sve veća. Potrošači sve više postaju svjesni utjecaja prehrambene industrije na okoliš, stoga obraćaju veću pozornost na način proizvodnje proizvoda koje konzumiraju. Međunarodna trgovina prehrambenim proizvodima, pa tako i ekološkim proizvodima podliježe raznim regulativama kako bi se potrošačima prodali uistinu sigurni proizvodi.

Abstract (english)

International trade is diverse and complex and most countries of the world participate in it. As the world's population grows, international food trade helps meet increasing demand by reducing pressure on limited natural resources. The food industry is constantly changing. New consumer trends, new technologies, and competition mean that this industry must continue to evolve and adapt. The international trade in organic products is developing nowadays as awareness about organic products is increasing. Consumers are becoming more and more aware of the impact of the food industry on the environment, so they are paying more attention to the way the products they consume are produced. International food trade, including organic products, is subject to various regulations to sell truly safe products to consumers.
