Abstract

The goal of this thesis is to analyze and compare the effects of human error on cybersecurity within the healthcare, education, retail, and financial services industries. By examining the common types of human errors that lead to cybersecurity threats in each sector, this research aims to provide insights into the unique challenges and vulnerabilities faced by these industries. The study will assess the consequences of human error in terms of financial, reputational, operational, and regulatory impacts. The ultimate objective is to identify effective mitigation strategies and best practices tailored to each industry to enhance cybersecurity resilience and protect sensitive information from human-related threats.
