Abstract

Ovaj istraživački rad zadire u višestruke regionalne učinke pandemije COVID-19 na lance opskrbe poljoprivredno-prehrambenim proizvodima (AFSC) u središnjoj Europi. Tijekom pandemije, komparativna analiza i pregled literature otkrivaju značajne poremećaje u različitim fazama opskrbnog lanca, uključujući agregaciju, obradu i distribuciju. Ova studija usmjerena je na srednjoeuropsku regiju, obuhvaćajući razdoblja prije, tijekom i nakon pandemije COVID-19. Učinak pandemije na AFSC razlikuje se u različitim fazama opskrbnog lanca, a razlika je prvenstveno uzrokovana posebnim poljoprivrednim sastavom svake NUTS 2 regije. Studija ima za cilj pružiti nove uvide u poljoprivredno-prehrambenu industriju u postpandemičnom krajoliku.

Abstract (english)

This research paper delves into the multifaceted regional effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on Agri-Food Supply Chains (AFSCs) in central Europe. Throughout the pandemic, a comparative analysis and literature review reveal significant disruptions in various stages of the supply chain, including aggregation, processing, and distribution. This study centres on the central European region, spanning the periods before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The effect of the pandemic on AFSCs varies across different stages of the supply chain, a disparity primarily driven by the distinctive agricultural composition of each NUTS 2 region. The study aims to provide fresh insights for the agri-food industry in the post-pandemic landscape.
