Abstract
U ovome završnom radu će se govoriti o ulogama manifestacija u turizma grada Varaždina. Bit će korišteni podaci Državnog zavoda za statistiku, Ministarstva turizma i Turističke zajednice grada Varaždina te rezultati online ankete preko Google Formsa. Cilj je kroz dobivene i istražene statičke podatke prikazati koliko manifestacije mogu biti važne za grad Varaždin te koliko utječu na razvoj turizma. Također bit će moguće vidjeti usporedbu Varaždina i njezine županije u odnosu s drugim županijama iz Hrvatske po dolascima i noćenjima, ali i dužini boravka. Online anketa će samo potvrditi kod ispitanika zainteresiranost za grad Varaždin i njezine manifestacije koje se održavaju, neke već duži niz godina. Osvrt kroz rad je najviše na najpoznatije i posjećenije manifestacije, a to su Barokne večeri grada Varaždina, Špancirfest te Advent u Varaždinu. Naime, važno je od ciljeva spomenuti kakav utjecaj su imale spomenute manifestacije na razvoj grada kroz povijest, ali i trud i obrazovanje grada Varaždina i njezinih stručnih djelatnika u turizmu koji i dalje rade na usavršavanju i budućnosti održavanja manifestacija u gradu.
