Abstract

Transformacijski stil vodstva aktualno je područje u današnjem poslovnom svijetu. Vođe ga sve češće primjenjuju jer u mnogim slučajevima povećava motivaciju, moral i radni učinak zaposlenih. Cilj je ovog rada istražiti zastupljenost primjenjivanja transformacijskog stila vodstva u Hrvatskoj, odnosno utvrditi je li navedeni stil vodstva u Hrvatskoj češće korišten u profitnim ili neprofitnim organizacijama. Kako bi se to doznalo, provedeno je empirijsko istraživanje na uzorku od 30 ispitanika, odnosno vođa profitnih i neprofitnih organizacija u Hrvatskoj. Podaci su prikupljeni putem anketnog upitnika koji je izrađen na temelju Višefaktorskog upitnika rukovođenja (MLQ). Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da vođe u obje vrste organizacija uspješno motiviraju i inspiriraju svoje podređene, dok bi u budućnosti profitne organizacije mogle poraditi na intelektualnoj stimulaciji, a neprofitne na idealiziranom utjecaju. Usporedbom ukupnih prosječnih ocjena zaključuje se da profitne organizacije u Hrvatskoj imaju visoki stupanj transformacijskog vodstva, a neprofitne organizacije srednji stupanj, odnosno konačni je zaključak da je transformacijsko vodstvo u Hrvatskoj češće zastupljeno u profitnim nego u neprofitnim organizacijama.

Abstract (english)

Transformational leadership style is a popular topic in today's business world. Leaders use it more and more often because in many cases it increases the motivation, morale and work performance of employees. The aim of this paper is to investigate the prevalence of the application of the transformational leadership style in Croatia, i.e. to determine whether the mentioned leadership style is more often used in profit or non-profit organizations in Croatia. In order to find out, an empirical study was conducted on a sample of 30 respondents, i.e. leaders of profit and non-profit organizations in Croatia. The data was collected through a questionnaire based on the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ). The research results showed that leaders in both types of organizations successfully motivate and inspire their subordinates, while in the future profit organizations could work on intellectual stimulation, and non-profit organizations on idealized influence. By comparing the overall average scores, it is concluded that profit organizations in Croatia have a high level of transformational leadership and non-profit organizations have a medium level, i.e. the final conclusion is that transformational leadership in Croatia is more often represented in profit than in non-profit organizations.
