Abstract

Solarna energija je svaka vrsta energije koju stvara Sunce te je među najdostupnijim oblicima obnovljive energije. Najveći izazov u 21. stoljeću su klimatske promjene odnosno porast temperature zbog emisija stakleničkih plinova. Države provode "politiku ublažavanja" odnosno smanjivanja svojeg ugljičnog otiska kako bi se regulirale emisije stakleničkih plinova te očuvala planeta Zemlja za daljni život i buduće generacije. U početku, solarna energija nije bila prihvaćena zbog svojih visokih troškova proizvodnje i male učinkovitosti, ali razvojem tehnologije se to promijenilo i u 2021. godini, solarna energija je postala jedna od najeftinijih obnovljivih izvora. Ulaskom u Europsku uniju, počinje trend rasta za solarnom energijom u Hrvatskoj te država prihvaća europske ciljeve u borbi protiv klimatskih promjena odnosno prihvaćaju europski cilj da Europa do 2050. godine postane prvi klimatski neutralni kontinent.

Abstract (english)

Solar energy is any type of energy created by the Sun and is among the most available forms of renewable energy. The biggest challenge in the 21st century is climate change, i.e. the increase in temperature due to the emission of greenhouse gases. Countries implement a "policy of mitigation" or reduction of their carbon footprint in order to regulate greenhouse gas emissions and preserve planet Earth for further life and future generations. In the beginning, solar energy was not accepted due to its high production costs and low efficiency, but with the development of technology, it changed and in 2021, solar energy became one of the cheapest renewable sources. With the entry into the European Union, the growth trend for solar energy begins in Croatia, and the country accepts European goals in the fight against climate change, that is, it accepts the European goal of Europe becoming the first climate-neutral continent by 2050.
