Abstract

Poticanje poduzetništva prepoznato je kao ključni pokretač ekonomije svake države. Poduzetništvo kroz stvaranje radnih mjesta, povećanje bruto domaćeg proizvoda, vanjskotrgovinsku razmjenu i ostalo značajno utječe na gospodarstvo. Jedna od mjera poticanja poduzetništva su i potpore za samozapošljavanje koje su već određeno vrijeme dostupne i za hrvatske građane. Na kreiranje poduzetničkih intencija utječu različite determinante, a u ovom radu postavlja se pitanje koja je uloga potpora za samozapošljavanje u njihovom kreiranju. Kako bi se pronašao odgovor na to pitanje, proveden je anketni upitnik u kojem je sudjelovalo 84 ispitanika. Utvrđeno je kako su ispitanici informacije o potporama najčešće dobivali od osoba koje su bivši ili sadašnji korisnici potpora, a da ih je na samozapošljavanje u najvećoj mjeri motiviralo nezadovoljstvo na prošlim radnim mjestima. Nešto manje od polovice ispitanika nije sigurno ili ne bi pokrenulo posao bez potpora te je za te ispitanike uloga potpora u kreiranju poduzetničkih intencija također bila bitna. Međutim, drugi ispitanici posao bi pokrenuli neovisno o potpori, stoga za njih mogućnost dobivanja potpora nije utjecala na kreiranje poduzetničke intencije. Istraživanjem je tako potvrđeno da kod različitih ljudi različite determinante imaju prioritet pri kreiranju poduzetničkih intencija, a naposlijetku i za ulazak u svijet poduzetništva.

Abstract (english)

Encouraging entrepreneurship is recognized as a key driver of the economy for every country. Entrepreneurship has a significant impact on the economy through the creation of jobs, an increase in the gross domestic product, foreign trade and other factors. One of the measures to encourage entrepreneurship is subsidies for self-employment, which have been available for Croatian citizens for some time. The creation of entrepreneurial intentions is influenced by various determinants, and this paper raises the question of the role of subsidies for self-employment in their creation. In order to find the answer to that question, a questionnaire was conducted in which 84 respondents participated. It was established that respondents most often received information about subsidies from people who are former or current beneficiaries of subsidies, and that they were motivated to self-employment to the greatest extent by dissatisfaction with their previous workplaces. Slightly less than half of the respondents are not sure or would not start a business without subsidies, and for these respondents subsidies played a role in creating entrepreneurial intentions. However, other respondents would have started the business regardless of the subsidies, therefore for them the possibility of receiving subsidies did not influence the creation of entrepreneurial intention. The research thus confirmed that for different people, different determinants have priority when creating entrepreneurial intentions, and ultimately also for entering the world of entrepreneurship.
