Abstract

Cilj ovog rada je analizirati kretanje prosječnih dnevnih cijena vodećih poduzeća hrvatske konditorske industrije i njihove prinose u predpandemijskom, pandemijskom i postpandemijskom razdoblju. Također provedena je i prognostička analiza za prosinac 2023. godine. Poduzeća koja se u radu analiziraju su Kraš d.d., Zvečevo d.d. i Kandit d.o.o. Analiza je provedena u programskom jeziku R. Glavni izvor podataka za ovaj rad su internetske stranice Zagrebačke burze s kojih su preuzeti podaci o prosječnim dnevnim cijenama dionica odabranih poduzeća. Osim toga, u teorijskom dijelu rada korišteni su stručni i znanstveni radovi. U radu se zaključuje da su tijekom krize Kandit d.o.o. i Zvečevo d.d. imali promjenjive vrijednosti dobiti i gubitaka. Oba poduzeća smanjivala su broj zaposlenika te ih karakterizira opadajući koeficijent financijske stabilnosti. Kraš d.d. tijekom cijele krize ostvaruje dobit i povećava broj zaposlenika. Očekivani prinosi tijekom razdoblja u kojima je Zvečevo d.d. ostvarivalo dobit veća je nego za dionice Kraša d.d. U tim razdobljima dionice Zvečeva d.d. su bile rizičnije za ulaganje. U razdobljima kada Zvečevo d.d. ostvaruje gubitak, opadaju očekivani prinosi i samim time isplativije je ulagati u dionice Kraša d.d. Primijenjenim odabranim reprezentativnim prognostičkim modelima utvrđene su prognostičke vrijednosti temeljem kojih se za oba poduzeća ne očekuju značajnije promjene cijena dionica u slijedećem kratkoročnom periodu.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this paper is to analyze the movement of average daily prices of leading companies in the Croatian confectionery industry and their yields in the pre-pandemic, pandemic, and post-pandemic periods. Additionally, a forecasting analysis for December 2023 was conducted. The companies analyzed in the paper are Kraš d.d., Zvečevo d.d., and Kandit d.o.o. The analysis was conducted using the R programming language. The main source of data for this paper is the websites of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, from which data on the average daily stock prices of selected companies were obtained. Furthermore, professional and scientific papers were used in the theoretical part of the paper. The paper concludes that during the crisis, Kandit d.o.o. and Zvečevo d.d. had fluctuating profit and loss values. Both companies reduced the number of employees, and they are characterized by a decreasing coefficient of financial stability. Kraš d.d. achieved profit throughout the crisis and increased the number of employees. Expected yields during the periods in which Zvečevo d.d. was profitable were higher than for Kraš d.d. stocks. In those periods, Zvečevo d.d. stocks were riskier for investment. In periods when Zvečevo d.d. incurred losses, expected yields decreased, and therefore, it was more profitable to invest in Kraš d.d. stocks. Predictive values were determined using selected representative forecasting models, based on which no significant changes in stock prices are expected for both companies in the next short-term period.
