Abstract

Ovaj rad analizira društva za upravljanje otvorenim investicijskim fondovima u Republici Hrvatskoj kako bi se mogle ponuditi strateške inicijative za poboljšanje konkurentnosti. Ako poduzeće želi dugoročno uspjeti na tržištu, mora posjedovati konkurentske prednosti koje ga čine superiornim u odnosu na konkurenciju. Ključ uspjeha u današnjem tržišnom okruženju je u diferencijaciji i inovacijama. Poduzeća se mogu usmjeriti prema strategijama niskih troškova, izražene diferencijacije ili posjedovanju specifičnih i rijetkih resursa kako bi postigli održivu konkurentsku prednost. U ovom radu, obrađene su glavne strategije poslovanja, različite generičke strategije te model analize konkurencije. Također, definirana je industrija upravljanja otvorenim investicijskim fondovima s javnom ponudom u Hrvatskoj, njeni ključni faktori uspjeha i mogućnosti za rast. Na osnovu ovog istraživanja, ocijenjena je privlačnost navedene industrije i predviđeni su njeni budući trendovi. Rad naglašava značaj pristupa inovacija i tehnoloških promjena kao ključnim za uspješno poslovanje i natjecanje s konkurentima.

Abstract (english)

The topic of this study is analysis of Croatian companies managing open-ended investment funds in order to offer strategic initiatives for enhancing competitiveness. If a company wants to succeed in the market long-term, it must possess competitive advantages that make it superior to its competition. The key to success in today's market environment lies in differentiation and innovation. Companies can focus on low-cost strategies, pronounced differentiation, or possessing specific and scarce resources to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. In this study, core business strategies, various generic strategies, and a competition analysis model are discussed. Furthermore, the asset management industry in Croatia, its key success factors, and growth opportunities are defined. Based on this research, the attractiveness of the mentioned industry has been assessed and its future trends are predicted. The study emphasizes the importance of embracing innovation and technological changes as crucial for successful business operations and competition with rivals.
