Abstract

Međudjelovanje između otvorenosti gospodarstva i njegovog utjecaja na gospodarski rast predstavlja ključno područje istraživanja unutar područja gospodarskog razvoja i međunarodne trgovine. Otvorenost se temelji na premisi da dopuštanjem robi, uslugama, kapitalu i radnoj snazi da se slobodnije kreću preko granica, zemlje mogu iskoristiti komparativne prednosti, poticati konkurenciju i stimulirati inovacije. Utjecaj otvorenosti na gospodarski rast uvjetovan je nizom čimbenika, uključujući strukturu gospodarstva, kvalitetu institucija i razinu ljudskog kapitala, među ostalima.

Abstract (english)

The interaction between the openness of an economy and its impact on economic growth represents a key area of research within the field of economic development and international trade. Openness is based on the premise that by allowing goods, services, capital, and labor to move more freely across borders, countries can exploit comparative advantages, encourage competition, and stimulate innovation. The impact of openness on economic growth is conditioned by a range of factors, including the structure of the economy, the quality of institutions, and the level of human capital, among others.
