Abstract

Robotska automatizacija procesa (engl. Robotic Process Automation – RPA) omogućuje automatizaciju rutinskih i repetitivnih zadataka pomoću softverskih robota, oslobađajući ljudske resurse za složenije i kreativnije aktivnosti. S obzirom na brz rast i evoluciju RPA tehnologije postaje nužno istražiti i analizirati njene kapacitete, prednosti i ograničenja, kao i usporediti dostupne alate na tržištu. U ovom radu provedena je usporedba i analiza tri vodeća alata za RPA: UiPath, MS Power Automate i Automation Anywhere. Cilj analize je kroz izradu automatizacije procesa utvrditi koji alat najbolje zadovoljava specifične kriterije u automatizaciji poslovnih procesa. Kroz izradu procesa automatizacije uspoređene su karakteristike svakog alata te su identificirane ključne prednosti i nedostatci svakog od njih. Rezultati analize pokazali su da je UiPath lider u većini kategorija posebice u integraciji s drugim alatima te brzini i efikasnosti implementacije. MS Power Automate se istaknuo u intuitivnosti sučelja, ali zabilježio je slabosti u obradi podataka. Automation Anywhere pokazao je zadovoljavajuće performanse, ali nije bio najbolji u niti jednoj kategoriji. U zaključku se naglašava potreba za dodatnim istraživanjima uključujući usporedbu troškova i evaluaciju buduće integracije umjetne inteligencije u alate. Razlike između alata su male što upućuje na to da su sva tri analizirana alata kompetentna i pružaju solidna rješenja za automatizaciju poslovnih procesa.

Abstract (english)

RPA (engl. Robotic Process Automation – RPA) technology enables the automation of routine and repetitive tasks using software robots, freeing up human resources for more complex and creative activities. Considering the rapid growth and evolution of RPA technology, it becomes necessary to research and analyze its capacities, advantages and limitations, as well as to compare the available tools on the market. This paper compares and analyzes three leading tools for RPA: UiPath, MS Power Automate and Automation Anywhere. The aim of the analysis is to determine which tool best meets the specific criteria in the automation of business processes through the creation of process automation. Through the creation of the automation process the characteristics of each tool were compared and the key advantages and disadvantages of each tool were identified. The results of the analysis showed that UiPath is the leader in most categories, especially in integration with other tools and speed and efficiency of implementation. MS Power Automate excelled in the intuitiveness of the interface but showed weaknesses in data processing. Automation Anywhere showed satisfactory performance but was not the leader in any category. The conclusion emphasizes the need for additional research, including cost comparison and evaluation of future integrations of artificial intelligence into tools. The differences between the tools are small, which indicates that all three analyzed tools are competent and provide solid solutions for automating business processes.
