Abstract

Ovaj istraživački rad bavi se zaštitom turističkih potrošača u turoperatorskom poslovanju u zemljama BRICS-a (Brazil, Rusija, Indija, Kina i Južna Afrika). Fokus je na analizi zakonodavnog okvira i praksi turoperatora u ovim državama, s ciljem razumijevanja mehanizama zaštite potrošača u turizmu. Rad se bavi ključnim temama, uključujući pravne propise koji reguliraju rad turoperatora, prava potrošača, odgovornosti turoperatora te analizu učinkovitosti zaštitnih mehanizama. Ciljevi istraživanja obuhvaćaju definiranje uloga i odgovornosti turoperatora, analizu njihovih osnovnih funkcija i važnost zaštite potrošača u njihovom poslovanju. Također, istražuju se posljedice neispunjavanja ugovornih obveza, kao i povijest integracije BRICS-a, razlozi pridruživanja zemalja ovoj organizaciji, te njen značaj za globalnu ekonomiju.

Abstract (english)

This research paper focuses on the protection of tourist consumers in tour operator business within BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa). The focus is on analyzing the legislative framework and practices of tour operators in these countries, with the aim of understanding consumer protection mechanisms in tourism. The paper addresses key topics, including legal regulations governing tour operators, consumer rights, the responsibilities of tour operators, and an analysis of the effectiveness of protection mechanisms. The research objectives include defining the roles and responsibilities of tour operators, analyzing their core functions, and highlighting the importance of consumer protection in their operations. Additionally, the paper examines the consequences of contract non-fulfillment, the history of BRICS integration, the reasons why countries joined the organization, and its significance for the global economy.
