Abstract

U ovom se doktorskom radu primjenom metoda multivarijatne statističke analize empirijski istražuje pretpostavljeni teorijski odnos između odrednica primjene norme ISO 9001, njezine internalizacije te koristi za javnozdravstvene ustanove u Republici Hrvatskoj. Poseban se naglasak pritom stavlja na definiranje funkcionalnih i institucionalnih čimbenika za implementaciju norme ISO 9001 te njihove povezanosti s razlikama u razini internalizacije norme ISO 9001 u kontekstu javnozdravstvenih institucija. Također, posebno se analizira povezanost razine internalizacije norme ISO 9001 s percipiranim vanjskim i unutarnjim koristima za javnozdravstvene ustanove u Republici Hrvatskoj. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da i institucionalni i funkcionalni čimbenici za implementaciju norme ISO 9001 imaju značajan i pozitivan utjecaj na internalizaciju norme ISO 9001 u javnozdravstvenim ustanovama. Osim toga, rezultati pokazuju i da viša razina internalizacije norme ISO 9001 ima značajan i pozitivan utjecaj na percipirane unutarnje i vanjske koristi za javnozdravstvene ustanove. U istraživačkom je modelu analiziran i utjecaj kontrolnih varijabli: veličine javnozdravstvene ustanove, vremena proteklog od stjecanja norme ISO 9001 te postojanja drugog sustava za upravljanje kvalitetom koji se primjenjuje zajedno s normom ISO9001. Rezultati istraživanja ukazuju da nijedna od kontrolnih varijabli ne bilježi značajan utjecaj u modelu.

Abstract (english)

In this doctoral dissertation, the theoretical relationship between the determinants of ISO 9001 implementation, its internalization, and the benefits for public healthcare institutions in the Republic of Croatia is empirically examined through the application of multivariate statistical analysis methods. Special emphasis is placed on defining the functional and institutional factors for the implementation of ISO 9001 and their association with differences in the level of ISO 9001 internalization within the context of public healthcare institutions. Furthermore, the relationship between the level of ISO 9001 internalization and the perceived external and internal benefits for public healthcare institutions in Croatia is specifically analyzed. The research findings demonstrate that both institutional and functional factors for the implementation of ISO 9001 have a significant and positive impact on the internalization of ISO 9001 in public healthcare institutions. Additionally, the results indicate that a higher level of ISO 9001 internalization has a significant and positive effect on the perceived internal and external benefits for public healthcare institutions. The research model also analyzes the impact of control variables, including the size of the public healthcare institution, the time elapsed since ISO 9001 certification, and the presence of another quality management system applied alongside ISO 9001. The findings reveal that none of the control variables exhibit a significant effect in the model.
