Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad proučava kako korištenje Internet stvari (IoT) u skladišnom poslovanju utječe na ukupni rezultat poslovanja. Cilj rada je prikazati isplati li se uvoditi Internet stvari u skladišno poslovanje te s kojim izazovima se kompanije mogu susresti prilikom implementacije tehnologija Internet stvari. Radi jednostavnije usporedbe, u radu se navode i razlike između tradicionalnih skladišta i pametnih skladišta. Kako bi se provjerio utjecaj uvođenja tehnologija IoT u skladišno poslovanje na cjelokupno poslovanje, provedeno je istraživanje. Provedeno istraživanje se sastoji od tri studije slučaja u kojima se navode rezultati implementacije te se provodi usporedba svih triju slučajeva.

Abstract (english)

This thesis explores how using the Internet of Things (IoT) in warehouse operations impacts overall business performance. The goal is to determine if introducing IoT into warehouse management is beneficial and to identify potential challenges companies might face during the implementation of these technologies. To make comparisons easier, the thesis also outlines the differences between traditional warehouses and smart warehouses. To evaluate the effects of IoT on business operations, a study was conducted. The research includes three case studies, presenting the results of IoT implementation and comparing the outcomes of all three cases.
