Abstract

The significance of mental health in the workplace cannot be overstated, as it profoundly influences job satisfaction, productivity, and overall well-being. Recognizing this, it becomes imperative for organizations to prioritize the mental health of their employees to foster a supportive and productive work environment.
This thesis conducted primary research via a questionnaire within a multinational professional services company, involving 48 professionals, both employees and managers. Out of... More 65 presented practices, in total 60 practices were accepted and viewed as useful in the work environment. The findings underscored management practices pivotal for cultivating a conducive work environment for remote employees. Clear instructions, regular feedback, and effective communication emerged as pivotal elements, empowering remote workers to perform efficiently and contribute meaningfully to organizational goals.
Building upon these insights, future research endeavours can explore diverse sectors, geographic regions, and larger sample sizes to further delineate best practices for fostering positive work environments. By addressing topics still stigmatized within companies and promoting a more pleasant overall work experience, such endeavours can contribute to the continued improvement
