Abstract

Cilj rada bio je istražiti odnos između razine percipiranog afektivnog sukoba i radne uspješnosti zaposlenika te ukazati na važnost upravljanja sukobima u cilju povećanja radne uspješnosti. U teorijskom dijelu rada se definira sukob, analiziraju se uzroci, tipovi, posljedice i strategije upravljanja sukobima u organizaciji, a koji mogu utjecati na radnu uspješnost, te sustavi i metode upravljanja radnom uspješnošću u službi postizanja organizacijskih ciljeva.

Empirijsko istraživanje provedeno je na uzorku od 127 zaposlenih osoba kako bi se utvrdilo postoji li povezanost između razine afektivnih sukoba koju pojedinac percipira i njegove samoprocjene radne uspješnosti. Istraživanje je pokazalo kako nema značajne povezanosti između količine afektivnih sukoba koju percipiraju ispitanici i njihove samoprocjene radne uspješnosti. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su kako razina afektivnih sukoba koju percipiraju ispitanici u organizacijama u kojima su zaposleni nije povezana sa samoprocjenom njihove radne uspješnosti.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this thesis was to explore the relationship between the level of perceived affective conflict and work performance of employees, in order to point out the importance of conflict management for increasing work performance. The thesis defines conflict, analyzes the causes, types, consequences and strategies of conflict management in organizations which could have an impact on the work performance, as well as systems and methods of performance management used for achieving organizational goals.

Empirical research was conducted on a sample of 127 employees in order to determine whether there is a correlation between the level of affective conflict perceived and respondent’s work performance. The research showed that there is no significant correlation between the level of affective conflict perceived by respondents in the organizations where they work and their self-evaluation of work performance.
