Abstract

S napretkom tehnologije online maloprodaja značajno je porasla, a jedan od uzročnika je pandemija COVID-19. Ovaj rad temelji se na analizi logistike posljednje milje i sustava paketomata. Kao odgovor na rast potražnje i očekivanja kupaca, poduzeća su razvila sustav paketomata. Naglasak rada je na identificiranju glavnih prednosti koje paketomati pružaju kupcima s obzirom na dosadašnje iskustvo. U usluzi paketomata, potrošači preuzimaju svoje pošiljke iz ormarića u proizvoljno vrijeme, a oni se, uglavnom, nalaze na javnim mjestima kao što su benzinske postaje i trgovački centri. Rad detaljno istražuje i izazove vezane uz promet, dostavu, učinkovitost i ekološki utjecaj s kojima se suočava logistika posljednje milje. Nadalje, rad daje uvid u rješenja koja se nude kako bi se prevladali ili smanjili postojeći izazovi. Istraživanjem se nastoji poboljšati razumijevanje čimbenika poput lokacije, vremena i cijene paketomata na zadovoljstvo kupaca njihovim korištenjem te pruža smjernice poduzećima za unapređenje i prilagodbu sustava.

Abstract (english)

In recent years online retail has expanded dramatically due to technological advancements. The COVID-19 pandemic has also had a major effect. This thesis is based on an examination of last-mile logistics and the introduction of the parcel locker system. Companies have devised a new delivery method termed the parcel locker in response to rising demand and client expectations. The focus of the effort is to determine the primary benefits that parcel lockers offer clients based on their prior usage experience. Parcel locker users pick their packages from lockers at their convenience and those are usually located in public places like shopping malls and gas stations. The challenges that last-mile logistics faces when it comes to delivery, transportation, efficiency and environmental impact are also thoroughly examined in this study. The study additionally provides an understanding of the strategies put forth to mitigate or eliminate the present issues. The study intends to increase understanding of how factors such as parcel locker location, time and price affect customer satisfaction with their use, as well as to provide suggestions to businesses on how to improve and adapt the system.
