Abstract

Cilj diplomskog rada bio je prikazati analizu utjecaja pandemije COVID-19 na turizam u Republici Hrvatskoj te dati procjenu gubitaka i strategiju oporavka. Iz prikazanih podataka analize prihoda i gubitaka povezanih s pandemijom COVID-19 utvrđen je negativan učinak na sektor turizma. Naime, u 2020. godini početak pandemije rezultirao je ukupnim prihodima od turizma koji su bili 54,3% niži od onih zabilježenih u 2019. godini. No, u Republici Hrvatskoj bilježi se oporavak turizma od 2021. godine, obilježen zamjetnim povećanjem ukupnih prihoda i doprinosa turizma bruto domaćem proizvodu (BDP). Te su godine prihodi porasli za 47,3%, a udio turizma u BDP-u za 6,1%. Uzlazni trend nastavio se i u 2022. godini, pri čemu su ukupni prihodi od turizma doživjeli daljnji rast od 30,3% u odnosu na 2021. godinu, te nevjerojatan porast od 63,3% u odnosu na 2020. godinu, tj. godinu početka pandemije.

Abstract (english)

The aim of the thesis was to present an analysis of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on tourism in the Republic of Croatia, and to provide an assessment of losses and a recovery strategy. From the presented data of the analysis of income and losses related to the COVID-19 pandemic, a negative effect on the tourism sector was determined. Namely, in 2020, the start of the pandemic resulted in total revenues from tourism that were 54.3% lower than those recorded in 2019. No, in the Republic of Croatia, the recovery of tourism has been recorded since 2021, marked by a noticeable increase in total revenues and the contribution of tourism to the gross domestic product (GDP). That year, revenues increased by 47.3%, and the share of tourism in GDP by 6.1%. The upward trend continued in 2022, with total revenues from tourism experiencing a further growth of 30.3% compared to 2021, and an incredible increase of 63.3% compared to 2020, i.e. the year of the beginning. pandemics.
