Abstract

Rad analizira i uspoređuje maloprodajne strukture u Hrvatskoj i Istočnoj Europi kroz nekoliko ključnih aspekata - broj prodavaonica, prodajni prostor u metrima kvadratnim, prosječna godišnja prodaja po metru kvadratnom te ukupna godišnja prodaja. Također je, s druge strane, prikazana i ukupna godišnja prodaja u online maloprodaji. Kroz komparativnu analizu, istaknute su razlike, ali i sličnosti u maloprodajnim strukturama Hrvatske i Istočne Europe. Hrvatska i Istočna Europa dijele slične trendove u maloprodaji, no postoji jasna razlika. Rad na kraju sažima razlike i sličnosti, odnosno jasno ukazuje u kojim segmentima maloprodajne strukture nema statističkih značajnih korelacije, odnosno gdje postoji visok stupanj korelacije koji je statistički značajan, te daje prijedloge za razvoj maloprodajne strukture u budućnosti. Zaključak analize maloprodajne strukture u Hrvatskoj i Istočnoj Europi jasno ukazuje na niz sličnosti i razlika između ovih tržišta, ali i na segmente u kojima ne postoji statistički značajna korelacija.

Abstract (english)

The paper analyzes and compares retail structures in Croatia and Eastern Europe through several key aspects - number of stores, sales space in square meters, average annual sales per square meter and total annual sales. Also, on the other hand, the total annual sales in online retail are shown. Through a comparative analysis, the differences, but also the similarities, in the retail structures of Croatia and Eastern Europe are highlighted. Croatia and Eastern Europe share similar trends in retail sales, but there is a clear difference. At the end, the paper summarizes the differences and similarities, i.e. it clearly indicates in which segments of the retail structure there are no statistically significant correlations, i.e. where there is a high degree of correlation that is statistically significant, and it gives suggestions for the development of the retail structure in the future. The conclusion of the analysis of the retail structure in Croatia and Eastern Europe clearly indicates a number of similarities and differences between these markets, but also segments in which there is no statistically significant correlation.
