Abstract

Dinamična okolina današnjice donosi određenu razinu neizvjesnosti u organizacije, stoga radna uspješnost zahtjeva brzu prilagodbu na novonastale promjene, odnosno kreativnost zaposlenika kojom će se istaknuti u poslovnom okruženju. Kreativnost se definira kao stvaranje ideja, proizvoda ili procedura koje su nove i potencijalno korisne, a u svrhu diplomskog rada dijeli se na radikalnu i inkrementalnu. Važnost spomenutih vrsta kreativnosti počiva u tome što radikalne ideje imaju drugačiji ishod od inkrementalnih. Radikalna kreativnost je primarno intrinzično motivirana i vođena problemom, a primarno ekstrinzično motivirana i vođena rješenjem je inkrementalna kreativnost. Prema tome, postoji mogućnost stvaranja potrebnih uvjeta u kontekstu kreativnosti od strane organizacija s ciljem željenog rezultata radne uspješnosti zaposlenika. U ovom je radu provedeno empirijsko istraživanje anketnim upitnikom na uzorku od 70 zaposlenih osoba kako bi se ispitala povezanost radikalne i inkrementalne kreativnosti s radnom uspješnosti zaposlenika. Rezultati su pokazali da postoji izravna povezanost radikalne i inkrementalne kreativnosti s radnom uspješnosti zaposlenika.

Abstract (english)

The dynamic environment of today brings a certain level of uncertainty to organizations, which is why work performance requires a quick adaptation to newly emerged changes, or rather, the creativity of employees that will help them stand out in the business environment. Creativity is defined as the creation of ideas, products or procedures that are new and potentially useful and it is divided into radical and incremental creativity. The importance of these types of creativity lies in the fact that radical ideas lead to different outcomes compared to incremental ones. Radical creativity is primarily intrinsically motivated and problem-driven, while incremental creativity is primarily extrinsically motivated and solution-driven. Therefore, there is a possibility for organizations to create the necessary conditions in the context of creativity in order to achieve the desired result in employee work performance. In this thesis an empirical study was conducted using a survey questionnaire on a sample of 70 employees to examine the relationship between radical and incremental creativity and employee work performance. The results showed that there is a direct connection between radical and incremental creativity and employee work performance.
