Abstract
Poduzeća u današnje vrijeme uviđaju da je ljudski kapital preduvjet radne uspješnosti. Kao osnovni alat za upravljanje zaposlenicima koristi se strategija nagrađivanja. Adekvatno razvijenom strategijom nagrađivanja poduzeća privlače, zadržavaju i motiviraju zaposlenike s potrebnim znanjima i sposobnostima kako bi što više doprinijeli ostvarenju strateških ciljeva. Cilj ovog rada je ukazati na važnost nagrađivanja u poduzećima, objasniti strategiju nagrađivanja te prikazati kako poduzeće može ostvariti konkurentsku prednost putem nagrađivanja zaposlenika. Na temelju poduzeća iz bankarskog sektora opisati će se koje elemente nagrađivanja poduzeće koristi, kako su usklađeni s poslovnom strategijom te kako im strategija nagrađivanja pomaže pri ostvarivanju konkurentske prednosti.

Organizations are becoming aware that human resources are the foundation of business excellence. Due to that they use various reward methods to attract, retain, and motivate employees. The aim of this paper is to point out the importance of rewarding for organizations, define the reward strategy and to explain how organizations can achieve competitive advantage using the right reward strategy. As an example, we will be using the organization from banking sector. We will define which elements of reward strategy they are using, how do they harmonize it with business strategy and is their reward strategy also a competitive advantage.
