Abstract | Suvremena poduzeća suočena s brzim promjenama, porastom konkurencije, te sve većom globalizacijom tržišta na kojima posluju, prisiljena su kontinuirano preispitivati smisao svog postojanja te provoditi fleksibilniju politiku prema svojim stakeholderima. Kako se pravila tržišnog natjecanja neprestano mijenjaju i konkurentske prednosti poduzeća ubrzano zastarjevaju, poduzeća moraju ustrajno redefinirati svoja tržišta, restrukturirati proizvodne procese i prilagođavati svoje poslovne modele, pri čemu su uspješna poduzeća današnjice rješenje pronašla u kontinuiranom procesu inoviranja, odnosno provođenju tzv. “kreativne destrukcije”. Dakle, inovativnost, proaktivnost i sklonost riziku osnovne su karakteristike modernih poduzeća u kojima određen broj ljudi ulažući svoja znanja i vještine razvijaju nove proizvode i usluge, te otvaraju nove poslovne mogućnosti, čime neprekidno ostvaruju konkurentske prednosti poduzeću, ili, točnije rečeno, provode poduzetničke aktivnosti unutar poduzeća, poznatije pod nazivom korporativno poduzetništvo. |

So, innovation, proactiveness, and risk appetite are the main characteristics of modern enterprises in which a number of people investing their knowledge and skills to develop new products and services, and open up new business opportunities which continuously generate competitive advantages the company, or, more precisely, implement entrepreneurial activity within company, better known as corporate entrepreneurship. |
