Abstract

Nowadays, the most crucial thing in the world of business, is the usage of information in the right way and at the right time. In the time of globalization, when we should use all the opportunities that are available to us, we should also be aware of its flaws. In a bunch of information, which are sometimes unuseful or outdated, we are at risk, to lose the game in comparison with our competitors at the market. Advantage is, that we have the possibility of choosing and therefore the opportunity to obtained data turn into information and gain competitive advantage.
Business Intelligence includes a process of collecting information from inside and outside business environment. Therefore this information firms are turning into business knowledge, on which basis they make further business decisions.
