Abstract

In the last twenty years, leaders have become more sensitive to their followers. Reason lies in the development of information technology which allowed organizations and institutions to interconnect. Internet is developing so fast and it allows people to interact more through multiplayer games. Modern leaders have to understand that world is very dynamic and there is no more only traditional way of communication. Today people are communicating through social networks, blogs and forums. Even though simulation gaming environments are very promising tools, they cannot be changed for traditional university involvements, direct student experiences or the traditional hard work studying. Simulation games should be used as great addition to traditional learning and give students necessary real-life practice. They give students exceptional experience and within which they can discover each other’s performance, behavior and should serve to students as platform for exchanging real experience, learning about possible leadership styles and as a place where they can reflect to themselves. Simulation games are very important learning instruments that let students practice leadership styles and abilities like in the real world On the other hand, if simulation game session does not give students feedback and does not let them reflect on themselves then the potential learning is not achieved.
