Abstract

Poslovni prcesi sve više zauzimaju mjesto u novoj poslovnoj arhitekturi. Suradnja procesnog
menadžmenta, izgradnja velikog broja procesnih veza, koje se zatim mogu povezati i na višoj
razini, važan su izvor konkurentske prednosti.
Sukladno procesnom sazrijevanju i sve većoj popularnosti procesne paradigme pojavljuje se i
koncept procesne zrelosti, koji postaje iznimno važan jer potrvrđuje da je organizacija prihvatila
procesni pristup. Koncept upravljanja poslovnim procesima ili široko prihvaćena procesna
orijentacija unutar organizacije dolazi iz razumjevanja da procesi imaju svoj životni ciklus ili
razvojne razine koje mogu biti jasno definirane, upravljane, izmjerene i kontrolirane kroz vrijeme.
Uslijed popularnosti koncepta procesne zrelosti razvijeno je mnogo modela procesne zrelosti.
Naime stručnjaci zainteresirani za procjenu procesne usmjerenosti organizacije trebaju procijeniti
model procesne zrelosti. Upravo je istraživanje modela zrelosti jedan je od predmeta ovoga rada. U
radu će se pokušati opisati koncept procesne zrelosti, modeli zrelosti procesno orijentirane
organizacije, te prikazati ključne prekretnice u razvoju procesne zrelosti. Sve je to napravljeno
prema pronađenoj aktualnoj literaturi iz područja upravljanja poslovnim procesima kod nas i u
svijetu.
Empirijski dio rada uključuje istraživanje evaluacije procesne zrelosti unutar jedne hrvatske
trgovinske tvrtke. Tako će se pokušati dati uvid u stanje zrelosti poslovnih procesa unutur navedene
tvrke, što može na neki način dati uvid u stupanj procesne zrelosti u hrvatskim poduzećima.

Abstract (english)

Business processes are increasingly taking the place in modern business architecture. Cooperation
between process management and construction of large number of process connections, which can
be upgraded to a higher level, are important source of competitive advantage.
In accordance with the process maturing and growing popularity of BPM paradigm the concept of
process maturity was created. It became extremely important because it confirmed that organization
adopted a process approach. The concept of business process management or widely accepted
process orientation comes from understanding that the processes have a lifecycle or development
level that can be clearly defined, managed, measured and controlled in time.
Due to the popularity of the concept of process maturity, many models of process maturity were
developed. The experts who are interested in assessment of process orientation in organization need
to assess process maturity model. Research of maturity model is one of the subjects of this paper.
This paper will attempt to describe the concept of process maturity, maturity models of processoriented
organization, and display key turning points in development of process maturity. All this
was done according to current literature in the field of business process management in the country
and in the world.
The empirical part includes the research of evaluation of process maturity in one Croatian trade
company. This will try to give insight into state of maturity of business processes within this firm,
which can, in some way, provide the level of process maturity in Croatian companies.
