Abstract

Poduzetništvo je glavni pokretač gospodarstva neke države zbog čega je vrlo važno potaknuti populaciju da se uključi u poduzetničke aktivnosti. Veliki dio populacije čine upravo žene koje su tek odnedavno ušle u poduzetništvo.
Žene je, kao nove sudionike poslovnog svijeta, potrebno podržavati i poticati što u najvećem dijelu obavljaju financijske institucije. Središnji dio rada usmjeren je upravo na izvore financiranja poduzetništva žena od kojih su najznačajnije kreditne linije banaka i državni programi financiranja.
Cilj empirijskog istraživanja u posljednjem dijelu rada jest utvrditi ulogu, odnosno utjecaj financijskih institucija na razvoj ženskog poduzetništva.
Ovaj rad bi trebao poslužiti za bolje razumijevanje poduzetništva žena i njihove uloge u poticanju gospodarskog rasta Republike Hrvatske. Nadalje, jedan od glavnih ciljeva je prikazati brojne mogućnosti koje se na tržištu nude ali i brojne čimbenike koji otežavaju poduzetništvo žena.

Abstract (english)

Entrepreneurship is a major initiator of the economy and it is very important to encourage and support the population to engage in entrepreneurial activities. A large part of the population are women who have only recently entered the business world.
Women, as a new participants of the business world, need a support which is in the most part provided by financial institutions. The central part of the work is focused precisely on the sources of financing of female entrepreneurship, where are the most important part credit opportunities from banks and state funding programs.
The goal of empirical research in the last part of the paper is to determine the role and influence of financial institutions on the development of women's entrepreneurship.
This work should serve for a better understanding of women's entrepreneurship and its role in stimulating economic growth in the Republic of Croatia. Furthermore, one of the main goals is to show the many opportunities that the market offers but also many factors that hinder women's entrepreneurship.
