Abstract

Tema diplomskog rada „Perspektive razvoja pustolovnog turizma na području Makarske regije“ je obrada turističkih kretanja na teorijskoj razini, prikaz podjele i glavnih obilježja, analiza postojećih resursa za razvoj pustolovnog turizma na području Splitsko - dalmatinske županije i Makarske mikroregije. Osnovni cilj i svrha rada je utvrditi probleme i mogućnosti razvoja pustolovnog turizma na području Makarske regije, utvrditi razlike i staviti u odnos prednosti i nedostatke pustolovnog turizma prema na negativnostima koje prate masovni turizam, međusobnu povezanost sporta i turizma, definirati vrste pustolovnog turizma, sadašnje turističko stanje, javnu i privatnu infrastrukturu, sadašnje turističke kapacitete ali i pretpostavke za mogućnost razvoja ovakvih oblika turizma, mogućnost širenja kapaciteta, atraktivne prirodne resurse i lokacije, ljudske potencijale i sl.
Nakon analize podataka prikupljenih iz relevantne stručne literature, članaka te izvora sa interneta, kao i podataka dobivenih iz sekundarnih istraživanja, dolazimo do zaključka da su mogućnosti za razvoj pustolovnog turizma u županiji i mikroregiji velike i nedovoljno iskorištene imajući u vidu iznimne prirodne resurse i očuvan okoliš, kao i razvijenu turističku suprastrukturu, bez obzira na identificirane probleme koji su pratili njegov dosadašnji razvoj.

Abstract (english)

The subject of the final paper “Development opportunities of adventure tourism in the microregion of Makarska“ is working of tourism on a theoretical level, showing its divisions and main features, analysis of existing resources for the development of adventure tourism in the Splitsko-dalmatinska county and Makarska microregion. The main goal and purpose of the study is to determine problems and opportunities of development of adventure tourism, what are the selective forms and to determine the differences in relation to the negativity that accompany mass tourism, the interconnectedness of Sport and Tourism, kinds of adventure tourism, present situation, public and private infrastructure as well as its assumptions for the possibility of the development of adventure tourism, existing tourist capacities, natural resources, human resources etc.
After analyzing the data collected from the relevant literature, articles and resources from the Internet, as well as data obtained from survey research, conclusion is that the possibilities for the development of adventure tourism in the county are high in view of the exceptional natural resources and preserved environment, and developed tourist superstructure, regardless of the identified problems that accompanied its development thus far.
