Abstract
U radu se daje definicija špedicije i uloge špeditera, te se analizira opseg i sadržaj njegova posla. Obzirom na izuzetnu važnost špediterske djelatnosti, kako na mikro, tako i na makro, globalnoj razini, te obzirom na njezinu relevantnost u raznim sferama društvenog života (ekonomskoj, gospodarskoj, ekološkoj, kao i nabavnoj, koja utječe na kvalitetu života lokalne zajednice), iznose se smjernice za učinkovitije i konkurentnije obavljanje špediterske djelatnosti, ne samo sa stajališta njezinog općeg nacionalnog poboljšanja, već i sa stajališta potrebe postizanja veće konkurentnosti hrvatske špediterske djelatnosti u globalnoj svjetskoj ekonomiji.
Abstract (english)
The thesis provides a definition of the role of freight forwarding and freight forwarders, and analyze the scope and content of its work. Given the extreme importance of forwarding services, both micro and macro, global level, and given its relevance in various spheres of social life (economic, environmental, and cost, which affects the quality of life of the local community) thesis provides guidelines for efficient and competitive performance of international transport and Croatian forwarding services.
