Abstract

Institucionalni investitori svojim ulaganjima znatno utječu na likvidnost i stabilnost financijskog tržišta, kao i na razvoj i produbljivanje hrvatskog financijskog sektora. Razvojem financijskih tržišta kroz protekla tri desetljeća institucionalni investitori zauzeli su vodeća mjesta u financijskim sustavima razvijenih zemalja. Svojim ulaganjima na tržištu kapitala doprinose i razvoju gospodarstva i društva u cjelini. Globalna financijska kriza narušila je stabilnost tržišta kapitala što je rezultiralo konzervativnijom investicijskom politikom institucionalnih investitora.

Abstract (english)

Institutional investors significantly affect with their investments on the liquidity and stability of financial markets, as well as the development and deepening of the Croatian financial sector. With the development of financial markets during the past three decades, institutional investors took the leading place in the financial systems in developed countries. With its investments in the capital market they also contribute to the development of economy and the society in general. The global financial crisis has undermined the stability of capital markets, which resulted in more conservative investment policy of institutional investors.
