Abstract

Cilj i svrha ovog diplomskog rada je analiza uloge turoperatora u unapređenju turističke ponude geografski specifičnog područja Hrvatske, otoka. Rad detaljno analizira poslovanje turoperatora specijalista te njegovu izravnu ulogu kao i neizravne posljedice koje izaziva svojim prisustvom u ekonomiji turizma otočne turističke ponude u Hrvatskoj. Poseban naglasak stavljen je na unapređenje otočnog turizma te uloge turoperatora specijalista u diverzifikaciji ponude.
Razvoj turističke ponude na otocima pojavljuje se u prvoj polovici 19.stoljeća. Turizam je u Hrvatskoj slabije razvijen na otocima nego na obali zbog brojnih problema koji otežavaju njihov turistički razvoj stoga je potrebno unaprijediti postojeću otočnu turističku ponudu. No usprkos tome, otočna turistička ponuda je brojna i raznolika, a uključuje prirodne i kulturne atrakcije, ugostiteljstvo, trgovinu i prometnu infrastrukturu.
Postojeću otočnu turističku ponudu je potrebno unaprijediti, a u tome svoju ulogu imaju turoperatori specijalisti. U ovom radu promatrana je uloga njemačkog turoperatora specijalista za Hrvatsku, ID Riva tours-a. Uz ponudu paket-aranžmana koja je navedena u radu, objašnjen je doprinos ID Riva tours-a u unapređenju turističke ponude na otocima u Hrvatskoj. Temeljem svojih poslovnih aktivnosti na turističkom tržištu, ID Riva tours obogaćuje boravak turista u turističkom odredištu organizirajući razna događanja u turističkoj sezoni i aktivnosti u mjesecima kada turistička sezona jenjava te na taj način osigurava turistička kretanja i u posezoni. Također svojim promotivnim aktivnostima predstavlja Hrvatsku na inozemnom tržištu privlačeći nove turiste i nove turističke posrednike.

Abstract (english)

Main purpose of this thesis is to analyze the role of tour operators in geographically specific Croatian regions, islands. The work shows the business of tour operators and its direct and indirect effects in the tourism of the island in Croatia caused by their presence. Particulary it emphasis the role of tour operators on improving the island's tourism and the development of it in terms of supply diversification, investment in transport infrastructure and maintaining the local population and present way of life, which is also part of the tourism product. Summed, island tourism should present example of sustainable development, personalized and micro tourism.
The development of the tourist offer on the islands began in the first half of the 19th century. Existing tourist offer should be improved. Big part in this assigment is on specialized tour operators.
For the purposes of this study the role of German tour operator ID Riva Tours was observed in detail. The foundation of its tourism activities is focused on projects of extending the tourist season, which is valorized through variation of accommodation, facilities that enrich the stay of tourists in the tourist destination and the activities organized in the postseason. All starts with creating images of Croatia as a holiday destination. Tool used for creating awareness about Croatia is word of mouth of tourists who have previously experienced the products and they may recommend it to their family, friends etc. ID Riva also participates in international tourism fairs and creates a view of Croatia as an attractive country
for vacation. Participation on fairs also attracts new travel intermediaries.
