Abstract
Europska unija je osnovana nakon Drugog svjetskog rata i cilj joj je mir i ekonomski prosperitet njenih građana. Prije samog ulaska u Europsku uniju članice se obvezuju na poštivanje određenih pravila i uvođenje minimalnog propisanog standarda kroz pregovore. Dio tih pravila i zakona koje moraju nove članice uvesti su i minimalne trošarine na pojedine proizvode kako bi se harmonizirali sa ostatkom članica. U ovom radu se uspoređuju i objašnjavaju pojedine trošarine i posebni porezi i prihodi između članica EU-13. EU-13 predstavlja zadnjih 13 zemalja koje su se priključile Europskoj uniji.
