Abstract

Ovaj rad se bavi problematikom načina rada financijskih kontrolera i odjela kontrolinga, odnosno koliko uvođenje digitalnih i informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologija pridonosi unapređenju rada kontrolinga i općenito cjelokupnog poduzeća. Rad je podijeljen na dva dijela – teorijski okvir i istraživanje provedeno među financijskim kontrolerima u Republici Hrvatskoj s ciljem utvrđivanja razine korištenja digitalne i informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije u radu trenutno i otkrivanja benefita koje su oni osobno, a posljedično i poduzeće, osjetili uvođenjem takvih tehnologija u poslovanje.
U radu su korišteni primarni i sekundarni podaci. Primarni podaci dobiveni su kroz istraživanje provedeno anketnim upitnikom, a sekundarni pregledom literature i metodom spoznaje, te su u njima sadržane metode indukcije te dedukcije koje su usko povezane s konkretizacijom, specijalizacijom, analogijom i generalizacijom na temelju već provedenih istraživanja na sličnu tematiku.
Analizom dobivenih podataka zaključuje se da je odjel kontrolinga u poduzećima koja su uvela digitalne i informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije u svoje poslovanje iskusio brojne benefite koji su omogućili efikasniji rad kontrolera i povećali kvalitetu odluka koje taj odjel donosi.

Abstract (english)

This paper deals with the issue of how the financial controllers and controlling units work, ie how the introduction of digital and information-communication technologies contributes to the improvement of controlling activity and overall of the whole enterprise. The paper is divided into two parts - a theoretical framework and research carried out among the financial controllers in the Republic of Croatia with the aim of determining at which level they use digital and information-communication technology at work currently and which benefits have they, and consequently the company, felt by introducing such technology into business.
Primary and secondary data are used in this paper. Primary data were obtained through a survey conducted by a questionnaire survey and a secondary examination of the literature and the method of knowledge, and the induction and deduction methods contained therein that are closely related to the concretization, specialization, analogy and generalization based on the already conducted research on a similar topic.
By analyzing the data obtained, it is concluded that the controlling department in the companies that introduced the digital and information-communication technologies experienced numerous benefits in their operations that enabled the controller to work more efficiently and increase the quality of the decision that this department delivers.
