Abstract

Predrasude da su muškarci predodređeni zarađivati za obitelji, biti poduzetnici i preuzimati rizike, sežu još od davnih vremena kada su se zajedno s njima, za određene poslove, pojavili i epiteti „muška zanimanja“. Takvi stereotipi i društveni stavovi ograničavaju žene u razvoju njihove karijere i stvaraju kočnicu prilikom njihova napretka u poslovanju. Rodna segregacija prisutna je u više područja s obzirom na razinu obrazovanja žena, njihovu struku, visinu plaće koju zarađuju, sposobnosti, biološke i psihološke razlike između muškaraca i žena.

Abstract (english)

Prejudices that men are predestined to make money for a family, to be enterpreneus and take risks, comes from ancient times when there started to appeal a lot of epithats „male occupation“ for some types of businesses. Stereotypes like these and social attitudes, usually limit women in their career development and create a brake during their business success. Gender segregation is presented in many areas considering education level, profession, salary level they earn, competences, biological and psychological differences between women and men.
