Abstract

Suvremena financijska tržišta omogućuju nove oblike financiranja poduzetničkih poduhvata i međunarodnog poslovanja. Ekonomija dijeljenja dovela je i do brzog razvoja suvremenih oblika financiranja prije svega u obliku skupnog financiranja kao i peer to peer posuđivanja. Iako u Hrvatskoj još relativno nezastupljeni, novi oblici međunarodnog financiranja su na svjetskim tržištima doživjeli značajni rast u zadnjih nekoliko godina. Alternativni oblici financiranja omogućuju različit pristup prikupljanju kapitala u međunarodnom poslovanju, omogućujući, prije svega, startupovima i malim i srednjim poduzećima pristup kapitalu i bez tradicionalnih financijskih posrednika te pristup kapitalu bolje prilagođen individualnim potrebama svakog pojedinca, odnosno poduzeća.

Cilj je ovoga rada sveobuhvatno definiranje novih oblika financiranja, analiza njihovih obilježja, modela i platformi koje omogućuju pristup navedenim oblicima financiranja, pregledom zakonodavnog i regulatornog okvira, koji mora pratiti njihov ubrzani razvoj, te komparativnom analizom s postojećim oblicima financiranja. Takav sveobuhvatan pregled alternativnih i brzorastućih oblika financiranja trebao bi predstavljati akademsku podlogu daljim istraživanjima.

Abstract (english)

Modern financial markets provide new forms of financing for entrepreneurial ventures and international business. The sharing economy has also led to the rapid development of alternative forms of financing, primarily in the form of crowdfunding as well as peer to peer lending. Although relatively unknown in Croatia, new forms of international financing have experienced significant growth in the world markets in recent years. Alternative forms of financing provide a different approach to raising capital in international business, enabling, first of all, start-ups and small and medium enterprises to access capital without traditional financial intermediaries and access to capital better suited to the individual needs of each individual or company.

The aim of this paper is to comprehensively define new forms of financing, to analyze their characteristics, models and platforms that enable access to these forms of financing, to review the legislative and regulatory framework that must accompany their accelerated development, and to compare them with existing forms of financing. Such a comprehensive review of alternative and fast-growing forms of funding should provide an academic basis for further research.
