Abstract

U današnje vrijeme, sve više poduzeća prelazi iz proizvodne u uslužnu djelatnost. Znanje, odnosno intelektualni kapital, postaje ključni faktor virtualne ekonomije koji pretvoren u nešto vrijedno donosi zaradu poduzeću. U teorijskom dijelu rada, proučena su obilježja intelektualnog kapitala i njegovi sastavni elementi te obilježja virtualne ekonomije i njezin razvoj. Osim glavnih obilježja, u radu je navedena i uloga intelektualnog kapitala u virtualnoj ekonomiji te prednosti i slabosti virtualne organizacije. Empirijski dio rada temelji se na dubinskom intervjuu provedenom sa mladim poduzetnikom i suosnivačem virtualnog poduzeća u kojem su postavljena istraživačka pitanja o ulozi intelektualnog kapitala u virtualnom poduzeću, prednostima i nedostacima virtualnog poslovanja te usporedba virtualnog poslovanja u Hrvatskoj i izvan nje. Rezultati istraživanja ukazuju na brojne prednosti virtualnog poslovanja koje sve više prevladava na tržištu rada i na činjenicu da je intelektualni kapital temelj virtualne ekonomije jer znanje i vještine donose zaradu poduzeću.

Abstract (english)

Today, more and more companies are moving from manufacturing to service. Knowledge, that is, intellectual capital, is becoming a key factor in a virtual economy which when transformed into something valuable brings profit to the enterprise. The characteristics of intellectual capital with its constituent elements and the characteristics of the virtual economy with its development are examined in the theoretical section of the paper. In addition to the main features, the paper also outlines the role of intellectual capital in the virtual economy and the strengths and weaknesses of virtual organization. The empirical section of the paper is based on an in-depth interview conducted with a young entrepreneur and co-founder of a virtual company. In this interview, research questions were asked about the role of intellectual capital in a virtual enterprise, the advantages and disadvantages of virtual business, and a comparison of virtual business in Croatia and abroad. The research findings point to the many benefits of virtual business that are increasingly prevalent in the job market and also to the fact that intellectual capital is the foundation of the virtual economy because knowledge and skills make a profit for the company.
