Abstract

Urbanizacija i globalizacija te pojava sve više vozila, dovodi do zagušenja prometa i smanjene efektivnosti dosadašnje prometne infrastrukture. Povečanjem broja vozila na cestama stvaraju se i veće gužve kao i produženo vrijeme putovanja, samim time se povećava potrošnja goriva i emisija štetnih ispušnih plinova koje stvaraju vozila, sukladno s navedenim dolazi do boljeg osmišljavanja i rješavanja navedenog problema kroz bolju organiziranost cjelokupnog prometnog sustava u inteligentni sustav. Svrha pisanja rada je ukazati i analizirati inteligentni prometni sustav na cestama, te koja im je svrha i na koji način služe za poboljšanje sigurnosti u prometu, te stvaraju bolju efikasnost vožnje.

Abstract (english)

Urbanization and globalization and the emergence of more and more vehicles are causing traffic congestion and reduced efficiency of transport infrastructure so far. The emergence of larger congestion on the roads creates more congestion as well as extended travel time, which in turn increases the fuel consumption and emissions of vehicle-generated exhaust gases. The purpose of writing a paper is to point out and analyze the intelligent traffic system on the roads, what their purpose is and how they serve to improve traffic safety and to create better driving efficiency.
