Abstract

Industrijska revolucija kao glavna prekretnica u povijesti koja je bila obilježena pomakom iz agrarnog i zanatskog gospodarstva u industriju i strojnu proizvodnju, donijela je brojne štetne ekološke posljedice na zemlju. I tog razloga, stvorila se potreba za primjenom novih načina proizvodnje što je rezultiralo brojnim svjetskim konferencijama i strategijama s ciljem razvijanja novih načina proizvodnje koji će označiti novu zelenu eru industrije i ekonomije bez daljnjeg uništavanja zemljinih resursa. Danas je Europa globalni predvodnik u brojnim industrijama, posebice kad je riječ o zelenim. Neki smatraju da Europska unija ima najopsežnije zakone o zaštiti okoliša i politike koje vode ka novoj zelenoj ekonomiji. Kada gledamo Europu i države koje se ističu u zelenome rastu, možemo izdvojiti Njemačku kao predvodnicu. Kao industrijski jaka zemlja stvarala je visoke količine onečišćenja te s vremenom bila prisiljena tražiti alternativne izvore energije koji će podupirati zelenu ekonomiju, a s druge strane ne ugrožavati industriju i ekonomski rast. Sve to vodilo je do razvoja takozvanog „Energiewende“ koji predstavlja energetsku tranziciju Njemačke na niskougljičnu industriju. U radu je prikazan pokret tranzicije, ostvareni dosadašnji napredak te zašto ta tranzicija predstavlja najambiciozniji klimatski i energetski projekt u Njemačkoj i Europi.

Abstract (english)

The Industrial Revolution, as a major turning point in history, was marked by shifting from the agrarian and artisanal economy to industry and mechanical production, has brought a number of harmful ecological consequences to the earth. And for that reason, the need to create new way of production has emerged and resulted in numerous world conferences and strategies to develop new ways of production that will mark a new green era for industry and economy without further destroying earth's resources. Today, Europe is a global leader in many industries, especially when it comes to green ones. Some believe that the European Union has the most comprehensive environmental laws and policies that lead to a new green economy. When we look at Europe and the countries that stand out in green growth, we can point out Germany as a leader. As an industrially strong country, it created high levels of pollution and over time was forced to look for alternative sources of energy that would support green economy but also not jeopardize industry and economic growth. All this led to the development of the so-called "Energiewende", which represents Germanenergy transition to the low carbon industry. This paper explains the transition movement, the progress achieved so far and why it represents the most ambitious climate and energy project in Germany and Europe.
