Abstract

U ovom specijalističkom radu razrađeni su izvori financiranja start-up poduzeća. Ciljevi rada su izložiti i vrednovati najznačajnije izvore financiranja start-up poduzeća, uputiti na važnost u razvoju gospodarstva, izložiti najznačajnije izvore financiranja start-up poduzeća u RH, EU i SAD-u, uputiti na mogućnosti primjene određenih modela izvora financiranja start-up poduzeća iz svijeta u RH te uputiti na značaj poduzetničkih inkubatora u njihovu razvoju. Start-up poduzeća kao dio sustava malih i srednjih poduzeća karakterizira otežan pristup financiranju. Zbog osobitog značaja za razvoj gospodarstva, start-up poduzeća uživaju podršku države. Državna intervencija utječe na financiranje start-up poduzeća iz proračuna i iz fondova Europske unije, pristup bankovnom financiranju, razvoju poduzetničke infrastrukture te pristupu sustavu fondova rizičnog/ poduzetničkog kapitala i poslovnih anđela. Razvijeniji financijski sustavi SAD-a i Europske unije posjeduju i daleko razvijenije start-up ekosustave s mnoštvo uspješnih start-up poduzeća zahvaljujući poticajnom okruženju te olakšanom pristupu rizičnog kapitala. Slijedeći primjere razvijenijih zemalja, te primjenjujući porezne olakšice za poslovne anđele, podupirući osnivanje start-up poduzeća, ukidajući administrativne prepreke u poslovanju malih i srednjih poduzeća, te mentoriranjem i edukacijom novoosnovanih poduzeća u poduzetničkim inkubatorima, Hrvatska može postati nova Silicijska dolina.

Abstract (english)

In this paper have been elaborated the sources of financing for a start-up company. The objectives of the paper are to expose and evaluate the most important sources of funding for start-ups, to point out at their importance in the development of the economy, to expose the most important sources of financing start-ups in Croatia, EU and USA, to point out at the possibility of applying certain models of start-up financing from the world in Croatia and point the importance of entrepreneurial incubators in their development. Start-ups as a part of a small and medium-sized enterprise system are characterized by a difficult access to finance. Due to its special importance for the development of the economy, start-up companies enjoy state support. State intervention affects at the financing of start-ups from the budgets and EU funds, access to bank financing, development of entrepreneurial infrastructure and access to a system of private equity/ venture capital funds and business angels. More developed financial systems of USA and the EU have developed start-up ecosystems with many successful start-ups thanks to the stimulating environment and facilitated access to venture capital. Following the examples of more developed countries, and applying tax reliefs for business angels, supporting the establishment of start-ups, removing administrative restrictions to small and medium-sized enterprises and mentoring and educating newly-established businesses in entrepreneurial incubators, Croatia can become the new Silicon Valley.
