Abstract

Brodograđevna industrija, kako u Republici Hrvatskoj, tako i u Kini prolazi kroz velike promjene kao posljedica kontinuiranog širenja i sve većih zahtjeva domaćeg i međunarodnog tržišta kojem se treba prilagoditi. Važnost segmenta brodograđevne industrije temelji se na korištenju više bitnih i značajnih industrijskih grana. Osim orijentacije k međunarodnom tržištu, brodogradnja uvelike nalazi svoje uporište u domaćem industrijskom okruženju, gdje se njena uloga najviše ogleda u pokretanju regionalne te lokalne zajednice. Unatoč prepoznatljivosti i dugoj tradiciji u hrvatskoj brodograđevnoj industriji, ista je godinama uvelike ovisila o izravnoj pomoći države, a čije izostajanje sada predstavlja veliki problem. S druge strane kinesku brodogradnju, država sustavno podupire, kao i nacionalne banke. Stoga je cilj ovoga rada analizirati postojeće stanje brodograđevne industrije s posebnim osvrtom na tržište Republike Hrvatske i Kine, kao i proučiti pozitivne i negativne aspekte. Cilj je utvrditi i imaju li Hrvatska i Kina interesa u području ulaganja i restrukturiranja u svrhu poboljšanja pozicije na tržištu i davanjem dobrog primjera suradnje.

Abstract (english)

The shipbuilding industry, both in the Republic of Croatia and China, is under going major changes as a result of the continued expansion and increasing demands of the domestic and international markets that need to adapt. The importance of the shipbuilding industry segment is based on the use of several important and significant industries. In addition to its orientation towards the international market, shipbuilding has a strong foothold in the domestic industrial environment, where its role is most reflected in starting a regional and local community. Despite its recognizability and long tradition in the Croatian shipbuilding industry, it has for years largely depended on direct assistance from the state, whose absence is now a major problem. On the other hand, Chinese shipbuilding is systematically supported by the state, and the iternational banks. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to analyze the current state of the shipbuilding industry with special reference to the market of the Republic of Croatia and China, as well as to study the positive and negative aspects. The objective is also to determine whether Croatia and China have interests in investment and restructuring in order to improve their market position and to set a good example of cooperation.
